The Personalization of Different Treatments
At M. González Orta Dental Clinic, we understand that orthodontics is much more than an aesthetic concern; it is an essential tool to ensure proper bite function and joint health. Thanks to a precise and personalized diagnosis, we are able to correct tooth position to prevent premature wear, while also facilitating thorough hygiene that reduces the risk of cavities and periodontal diseases.
To adapt to each person’s lifestyle, our clinic offers both invisible orthodontics and conventional methods, utilizing cutting-edge technology to achieve optimal results.

Treatment phases
What to expect in the different phases of this treatment?
Orthodontics is a comprehensive process that combines advanced technology and precise planning to transform your oral health. Through a structured methodology, we correct alignment and bite to ensure lasting aesthetic and functional results.
This is the fundamental phase where we gather all necessary information. We perform photographs, X-rays (orthopantomography and teleradiography), and 3D intraoral scanning. With this data, our specialists design a customized plan, projecting the exact movement of each tooth before placing any appliance.
Once the chosen system is placed (whether invisible or conventional orthodontics), the initial objective is to correct vertical discrepancies and crowding. During this stage, the teeth begin to shift into their correct position in the dental arch, making the smile appear much more uniform.
In this stage, we focus on the relationship between the upper jaw and the mandible. We correct the occlusion (how the teeth fit together when closing the mouth) and close any remaining spaces between the teeth. This is the time for fine adjustments to ensure perfect chewing function and prevent future wear.
Once the aesthetic and functional objectives have been achieved, we remove the appliances. To prevent teeth from returning to their original position, we place retainers (fixed or removable). This phase is crucial at M. González Orta Dental Clinic, as it ensures that the results achieved in the clinic are long-lasting.
